The Slap was on tonight. Really liked it. Amongst other things it was uncomfortable. Looking forward to next week.Member 7167 wrote:The Slap looks quite interesting. I have also recently been watching a series called The Circuit which is based on the Aboriginal Legal Service in Broome. The theme is quite soap opera but the social aspect is quite confronting.

Last TV series I watched all of and enjoyed on the ABC was Sweet and Sour.

Yeah, I reckon its one of the best I've ever seen - the only series I've ever purchased. Still to watch series 5. I watch them with my wife when we go on holidays & take them with us if we stay in hotels etc. This year no hols so probably next year. The Prototype wrote:I watched the first few seasons of The Wire, looked pretty good, I may have to rent the rest of them on DVD.

I wouldn't bother with it if I were you tp. If you have trouble understanding SoA you'll have no hope with the Wire. I have perfect hearing but I had to turn on the subtitles sometimes. Those Baltimore accents are a killer!think positive wrote:cop show??
