Let's hope we can do more trades with the Lions.

Even Karnezis looks like he could be the real deal and we basically got him for nothing from the Lions.

Like Dayne Beams. In other words, Supercoach players still love him, but he ain't really that good.
I never really thought Beams was a good defensive player, bit too one sided IMHO. We got the trade deal of a decade !! :D

Vossy got his kid to Brisbane, and since then Leppa just languished him in the 2's. Saw him play a couple of games up here and was surprised he was not making the side.

When Voss was appointed as Assistant to Port I sent him a message congratulating him, he replied with a thanks mate.

When we attained crisp in the trade deal I received a message from Voss...'mate be very happy with Jack Crisp, he will be good for you guys'

He was right.
All this may be summed up in one word - CHARACTER - and if that is not worth developing, nothing is.

Na, I am sure he saw my Pies cap and was expecting a smart arse comment of some sort so I thought I would just leave him alone while we were both waiting for our orders. Then I changed mind and was going to say good luck and thanks for his time at the club but it was too late.

He seemed a very level-headed fellow. Coped well with being referred to (repeatedly) as the "steak knives".
