Yes. Beams was good. I see little difference in the ability to get the ball, but i think Crisp is the more damaging to the opposition, and a potential matchwinner. Thank you Bears. Thank you very much.
He probably lacks the polish to be an elite player like Pendlebury or Sidebottom but he plays to a very high standard and, because of his size and speed, he has a much greater capacity to influence the game than the fellow he replaced.

Oh f*ck yeah. I miss Beams' backwards-metres-gained useless disposals, and 50/50 around the corner kick-in-hope clearances like a hole in the head.
Crisp just charges his way through the contests like a mofo.

Can be a touch slow in decision making of occasion, for example his stepping back into traffic in the back pocket tonight.
Its something he can and I'm sure will work on. He is a real find.
The question is, is he better than Medhurst?
Harsh on that pack pocket traffic call, but I remember the incident.
The only other thing I was filthy on him was that junk time clearance just out from 3/4 time, where he stood off Mitchell, who sharked tap-out, pumped it inside 50m for a piss-poo goal.
