Crisp is out of of form. So is Williams, Langdon, Cloke, Grundy (except last week), Howe, Adams, De Goey, White, Blair, Toovey (apart from VFL), Aish (better game last week), Frost, Pendles (not starring). That is far too many players who are down. They all have to lift massively. The staff and supporters deserve much more. We should not panic but we should demand much more than we have received so far. This list and team is way down on confidence and completely underachieving.

Adams looks to me to be trying to hard to win contested ball. He's in the bottom of every pack and scrimmage trying to fight his way out to do something inspirational with the ball.John Wren wrote:he's going to have his ups and downs. last year was his biggest season in his short career. similarly for the likes of adams, moore and de goey. that said, you'd want adams to be more consistent.
Dial it back a bit, just get the ball and give it off. If that (mates with) up, go do it again, stop trying to do everything yourself.
he also needs to get more outside game, not just take it on himself to burrow into the packs at every opportunity.
Can't fault his effort, just needs to slightly adjust his radar.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
