We have J Crisp.....went for draft pick 87 or close to that from the lions.
Certainly looks better than BenKen and Broomy.
Get this crap all the time.
If not x then who.
What the hell does that prove.
Hine is average at best but lets throw rose petals at all the heroes at CFC.
They get plenty of money for their efforts but lets cut them slack year after year after year.
And if you or any other whinger disagrees then bad luck.
I don't care.
Be patient thompsoc, this is the year of no return.
Thanks TBWCW.
I like your posts
They are really funny sometimes
Had enough of certain posters who are cardboard cut outs from the CFC.
I am going to take the handbrake off my posts from now on.

I could say the same thing about Pert and Eddie
If you've got better options for President and CEO then by all means name them.

How long would you like the list!
How many pages long?
So steady eddie can't be replaced because he is too good.
The man who has had as many corporate failures as wins.
Get this rudeboy.
Everybody can be replaced except A graders and we haven't many of them.
And whose fault is that!
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

No one is irreplaceable, even an A grader.

You can replace an A grader, it's just harder to do.

Look at the kennedy, Grundy, broomhead draft as an example!

friggin hell rudeboy
There are 100s of corporates such as C Kelly
100's of ex pollies or those connected to politics like Conroy who would jump at it after he leaves parliament.
Even a guy like Kennett might find it a challenge.
There are 100's of people involved in community organizations that could do it.
I've sat on a number of community boards some that had budgets in the millions.
I could friggin do it.
Plenty of ex players who have done well who could do it.
Plenty of people in the media who could it.
After all Little old Ed was a junior sports reporter.
And then there are the warriors at Nicks
Plenty there boy!
So don't waste my time and demand that I go through the phone book.

How about this scoobydoo
You go through pick 21 to 86 and give me a run down on each of their merits and future potential.
Post it to me and I will correct it for you.
You made the point or suggestion that there was no one better.
So you waste your time doing the background checks.
I gave you an example that was recognisable but no, you want me to check on the friggin lot.

There may well be better out there, but none are putting their hand up for either job.

Kelly is making millions running his management company and would have to off-load it to take a position heading up the Pies.

Conroy has been a failed politician, so I'd say no to him.

Kennett?....You've got to be joking.....an absolute egotistical moron and the guy responsible for closing and selling off state schools and other public assets to give billions to Lloyd Williams, Ron Walker and his other scumbag mates.

So far your list aint looking good, but by all means keep 'em coming.

Keep dreaming rudeboy
that there is no one out there who could replace Ed or who would not want to put their hand up.

Ed would like that.

One example comes to mind of an A grader (Chris Judd) being adequately replaced with Kennedy and pick 3 which was used for Chris Masten. Pick 20 was used for Tony Notte which didn't work out. I love the fact that Carlton lost so badly on that deal. It's the gift for the WCE that just keeps on giving.

You will find that Jason Taylor made Derek Hine. Taylor went to Melbourne in 2012 and since then our drafting has been diabolical and theirs has been great.

There needs to be an external review of the football department at the end of the year. Every position including the new coach has to be looked at.
I wouldn't call drafting Dawes, Harry and Kennedy great
Ahem. As I recall Dawes, Harry and Kennedy weren't drafted, they were traded.

Harry has been ok as had BK apart from a recent omission.
