Aw &%%&. That seriously sucks. How many weeks if it's not an overly emotional question?Skids wrote:My eldest daughter was excited about her ultrasound today, but instead of finding out the sex of her baby, they found no heart beat .
A sad day, especially when I'm 1000k's from home.
What made you sad today?

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Thanks David, Stui.
I haven't spoken to her, she's to upset to talk, just messages. She was 18 - 20 weeks or thereabouts Stui, not sure to be honest.
She's got her mum and sisters with her, she's a tough kid.
Empty feeling sitting here in my donga sipping a few beers.

Cheers mate. Enjoy those beers as much as you can, she's going to need some emotional support after this, especially if she has to basically go through giving birth to a dead baby (sorry if that's blunt imagery, been at the non-strikers end for a 20 week stillborn)
She's going to need her Dad, even if just in small doses and selected words.

Thanks Mandy, It's a real loss. The house does seem quite empty with Leo gone - When Mrs WPT would be put in the garden he would follow like a shadow & be next to her. He would come up and lean against you.mandy wrote:It's 4 months today since I lost Floyd. I still miss him every day.watt price tully wrote:Lost a dear and close family member last night.
Thinking of you too. xx
I can understand how you miss your Floyd (what a great name)
