Aussies top World T20 rankings - almost.

The Aussies were told, by the ICC, they'd be #1 in the World T20 rankings, if the went 5-0 in the Tri-Series.

But the ICC clarified on Wednesday that this initial calculation was a clerical error and it is in fact Pakistan who have retained top spot by 0.19 of a point - 125.65 to Pakistan's 125.84.

ICC T20I Rankings.

1) Pakistan - 126

2) Australia - 126

3) India - 122

4) New Zealand - 116

5) West Indies - 115

6) England - 114

7) South Africa - 110

8 Sri Lanka - 91

9) Afghanistan 88

10) Bangladesh - 72

Aaron Finch is #2 in the batting rankings and Glenn Maxwell - Tri-Series Player of the Series - is #7.

Dave Warner's recent run of outs sees him drop to 19th.

Maxy moves up to #2 on the T20 All-rounder table. No other Aussie is in the top 20.

Interestingly, Australia doesn't have a bowler (of the surrent T20 squad) in the top 17. Adam Zampa is at #18. Forgotten man, James Faulkner is at #9.
