Still not sure about Crisp.
Which is strange because I have seen 2 years worth of his efforts.
At 23 the best is probably yet to come.
He is tough and I like his size.
Hope he can really impress next year.
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

Very true Barry...That's been my biggest concern with Bucks and the coaching staff this year - they weren't demanding enough early in the season, players took liberties and it cost us. Hopefully lessons have been learned

I love this group of kids--sure I get annoyed when
they loose a perfect run into goal thru bad decision

With more sureness and continual playing together I
am sure that will go away

Agreed, he has had a couple of HUGE quarters (10+ touches) but then wont be seen until an hour later. I think it comes down to work rate which is very fixable.

Crisp has warmed into the season. off the top of my head his start of the year (much like the team) was very ordinary was it not?

Serious Q ... since the trade (ignore beforehand) has Crisp had better output than Beams?

^He's played more games than Beams, having missed none. Not as high an output, but we did best out of that trade, which is nice considering the prized player was volunteering to leave us, which usually weakens the bargaining position.

Of course he has - he is (we are told) an elite halfback, according to Champion Data, and has not missed a game. Beams is too slow to cut it against the best teams in big games - he's well off where he is, as a "biggish fish" in a tiny pond. It's possible we might have done better over the last couple of seasons against the rubbish (where Beams excels) - but we certainly got the better end of the deal, even just looking at this pair as a straight swap. This is possibly the greatest trade Collingwood ever made.
