My first thoughts:

Sids is back - albeit in the absence of Cummins and Hazlewood.

Finch gets a gig. Good move.

No Handscomb ?

Holland AND Agar - why ??

Probable XI:

Finch
Renshaw
Khawaja
Head
S Marsh
M Marsh
Paine
Starc
Siddle
Neser or Holland - depending on the wicket.
Lyon

Stuart Clark questions Peter Siddle's Test recall

[Comment: the last time Siddle was in the Test side, he lacked both pace and stamina.]

Who's comment, K ? The very last thing Sids lacks is stamina.

I don't mind the inclusion of Siddle. Hasn't played test cricket in nearly two years, but I think he will be a reasonable addition to the team.

He has test experience, which is what's needed right now.

I guess now the selectors can't ask Matt if he'll consider coming out of retirement for subcontinental conditions:
