I'm sick of the bowlers having to make up for the ineptitude of the top order, test after test, at the batting crease...Donny wrote:Excellent Test match. India wins by 31 runs.
Hats off to Cummins, Lyon and Haz. Nearly pulled off a miracle.
Mate we had them what 4/41 in the 1st dig?
This is the worst batting line-up we have selected since 2008/2009, or arguably 1995/1996 or perhaps even 1985/1986.
It's not like they are facing Garner/Holding/Croft/Marshall/Patterson/Ambrose et al?!
Why are so many top order batsmen in this country psychologically f&cking cripples?
How many blokes have had chances opening, or 3-5, and failed?
Look at how many caps have been handed out in the last few seasons?!
Probably time to give Doolan another shot, and it's a shame Renshaw can't get any momentum at the crease in Shield, to blunt the new ball either.
Siddle needs to come in too; still the best line/length bowler in the country.
I love Finchy, but perhaps the proof was in the pudding at test level?
