Australia v. Sri Lanka. 2 Tests.
Dean Jones notes Pucovski has impressive figures (but over how many innings?) ... and is a Collingwood supporter.

Labuschagne and Pucovski have probably secured their spots for the Test team.
Labu hit 6 & 50 and took 2/27 in SL's first innings.
Pucovski was once out for 56 runs.
However, Renshaw (7 & 10) and Burns (4 & 22) both failed.
It's bad enough Renshaw is in this squad, ahead of the likes of Wade, Handscomb and Patterson, but to pick him for the Test XI is, surely, not on.

"Patterson earns late call-up to Australian Test squad"
Is this selector backflipping or journo backflipping? Well, journo says it's selector backflipping!
"On Saturday, Cricket Australia made it clear the fixture in Hobart was "not a selection match" but clearly Patterson's sheer number of runs and public outcry as to why he could not be brought in were factors in his late inclusion."
Now all that's needed is for them to select Saruman.

Again, Wade highlights the crazy selection of Renshaw, for the Tests.
84 n.o. for the Hurricanes, tonight.
Yes, I realise T20s aren't Tests but Wade is sitting on top of the Shield batting table, averaging 63.44 and is in hot form, in the BBL.
At the start of the season, Langer assured players that Shield form would be rewarded.
SS Batsmen: Wade #1. Renshaw #36 - averaging 19.9
