Maxy drives a low full toss for a straight 6.

Chasing 7/327,
Pakistan are 6/293 (48 ).

They bring up 300, but the odds are
Oz 1.02 [~95%], Pakistan 19.00 [~5%].

Not a great over from Behrendorff, but this game's done.
25 runs needed off the final over.

Behrendorff has been expensive but has taken wickets: 3/63 (8 ).

That's 8 from 8. Khawaja, Finch and Maxwell will keep their spots.

They have still not given up hope on Jhye Richardson recovering in time. He'll be needed. Pakistan were probably a bit too weak in the end for ideal WC practice, but never mind.

Maxwell MOTM. 70 of 33 with 10 4s and 3 6s, backed up with 1/45 - the most economic bowling figures in the match. He was the difference. If he'd gone for 60 or only made 40, Pakistan would probably have won.

Finch MOTS. 451 at an average of 112.75, with two tons, two 50s and a top score of 153*. Maxwell average 64.5 in making 258 from 4 innings. Khawaja 272 at 54.4 from 5 innings. Both Maxy and Khawaja had a top score of 98. Each made 3 50s. Maxy also took as many wickets as Cummins in the series (although his average wasn't quite Cummins' 7.66).

I don't know how the UAE wickets and grounds compare to Englands, but that recent form we have struck is certainly welcome heading into the World Cup.

Every other country must be looking over their shoulder again now, and that is how we like it, coming in to tournaments as under dogs.
