The possible 400 has become a probable 300 - IF SL doesn't lose too many more wickets.

Excellent effort from Afghanistan.
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

Looking at the weather forecast, I don't see how play can resume in the next 2 hours. A washout may be favourite now. It's approaching 3pm at the ground. What is the cutoff time?

In other news, Steyn is out of the WC with injury, replace by Beuran Hendricks.

The rain has stopped. The game has been reduced to 41 overs each.

Nabi is stranded on 9 overs. I guess the restriction must be one bowler to 9 overs, four bowlers to 8 overs. That means Rashid Khan has two more overs.

Of course, it might rain again...

Sri Lanka all out for 201 (36.5).

That will also give Afghanistan more time to beat the rain.

Odds at the change of innings: Afghanistan 75%, Sri Lanka 25%.

Afghanistan 5/96 (20).

Run rate is no problem. Sri Lanka will have to bowl Afghanistan out. Both teams are halfway there. This is a close game.

Odds: Afghanistan 57%, Sri Lanka 43%.

Rain is also part of the equation.

cricinfo: "DLS par after 22 with five wickets down is 108, Afghanistan currently 3 behind."

We have passed 20 overs, so the washout is ruled out, but regular win, loss or tie, or DLS, are all possible.
...

A couple of overs later,
Afghanistan 5/114 (24).

Odds: Afghanistan 68%, Sri Lanka 32%.

For DLS, I think it's very important for Afghanistan not to lose wickets. The RRR is fine.

9/145 (32).

Sri Lanka have kept taking wickets.
Afghanistan had a crack but are going to fall short.
They still need 42 runs, with their number 10 & 11 batsmen at the crease.
