NZ 5/184 (40).

S. Africa have missed half a dozen chances in a short time.
Williamson gave a faint edge behind, and they didn't really appeal, let alone review it.

C. de Grandhomme has scored rapidly to help swing the game NZ's way.

14 needed from the last two overs.

CdG holes out to long off first ball!
6/228 (47.1).
It's not easy scoring runs.
A bespectacled Santner comes out.

Odds: NZ 76%, SA 24%. It feels tenser than that.

Second ball, Williamson almost gives a c&b!
Third ball chipped to long on.

13 needed from 9. Santner on strike.

Fourth ball: Swing and a miss.

Fifth ball: Smashed back; the stumps field and restrict them to single.

Last ball: Surely he wants a single? No, Williamson runs it past the keeper for 4!

Final over. 8 needed. But Santner is on strike. He needs to get a single.

Umpire Gould forbids JP Duminy coming on to the field as a supersub.

First ball: Santner gets a single.

Williamson is on strike. He has 96*. But there are more important numbers on his mind.

Kane Williamson slog sweeps the slower ball for 6!! A match-winning century by the captain. 83m.

And he hits the single needed off the third ball.

NZ win by 4 wickets with 3 balls to spare.

He did it!! But not alone; Colin de Grandhomme played a vital innings to keep the target in sight.
