The venue is Chester-le-Street, which is where the SL-WI game was played. Lots of players threw their wickets away in that game -- the WI innings alone had three run outs -- so the totals could easily have been even higher. It did have a covered off-centre pitch, so that might be used in the next game there, but I'd guess whichever pitch they use it'll be a bowler-killer. NZ don't have that sort of slogging power down the order. They have some sloggers who've attracted headlines in T-20 but haven't been able to make their ODI side.
I haven't heard any non-British fan or commentator say they like these bowler-killer pitches and these freak-show ODIs with more 6s than wickets. They are just bad for the game. The T20 success of spinners hasn't been reproduced here. Maybe whatever spin they get on these pitches is too slow, and the IPL and BBL pitches were much better for spinners.
