Root gets the edge of Wade's bat. It evades the slip.
Root is causing Wade problems.

Warne thinks he has underbowled himself.

Warne: "He's bowling a bit quicker too, which I don't mind."

Another good over from Root.

They can take the new ball if they want...

Smith almost gets run out. The throw from the outfield didn't hit the stumps. A direct hit would have caught him a metre out. Sangakkara & Warne criticise Root for not being behind the stumps to collect and take the bails off. Root was a bit in front of the stumps.

Not the first run out chance this innings either.

Warne: "There would have been time."

They appeal for LBW against Wade. Given. Immediate review.

Looks very high... Yup. Not out.

Athers thinks that was a very poor decision from Joel.

Athers: "Thank goodness for DRS."

Smith out. The ball is now going all over the place off the wicket. Australia are 241 in front and could declare and win by 150.

Nasser says Wade's head falls over (to the off side), making him vulnerable to LBW. Nasser says that's normally a technical weakness of taller batsmen.

Wade is almost at a run a ball now. He's approaching the century Healy predicted. Ah, these keepers.

We're told Wade & Paine went to the same primary school. I need to check the age difference. Paine is 34. Wade...?

And the five wickets to fall have all been keeper catches -- though the Buttler catch was not as a keeper. 8)

Sangakkara in that session also dissected the (bad) technique of England's keeper. More on that later.
