Oz could be batting today.
...
And Bairstow is lucky to survive his first ball, which comes back in and passes his edge.
-------------------------------
Next over, Lyon beats Stokes with a ball that fizzes out of the footmarks.

K, where can I get a replay of Bandy's catch ?
Used to be on the CA scorecards. Just a click away.

Lyon gets an LBW. Stokes. Is there a review? No.
Ben stayed down a long time (in the sweep position), so I wasn't sure what was going on.

It will eventually be on cricket.com.au, but I don't know how soon. (Maybe only after the tea break or later.)
Can you get no live vision at all (e.g. internet streaming)?
Update: Fairfax (which is owned by Channel 9 -- technically the name "Fairfax" has been retired) now has video on their live blog:

Not TV's finest moment here. We return from a silly ad, and they're in the middle of a TV review for stumping. (It's not out. There was no raised back foot.)
--------------------------------
On social media, we're told that
Bairstow's (Test) false-shot percentage in 2019 is 23.7%. That sounds huge.

Now it's Warne's turn to be surprised by how much spin there is on day 1.
Botham blames it on the good drainage.

Woakes defends a shortish ball and is lucky that the ball does not bounce back on to his stumps.
Botham declares it a "mystery" when a ball swings and when it doesn't. (I largely agree.)
Earlier, we were told that in the first session the swing (average, I guess) was 0.5%, which was the lowest at Lord's since 2005.

Bairstow nicks off Hazlewood, and it bounces well short of Warner at first slip. (When did Warner start fielding there??)
Warne thinks he's deep.
Warne: "Just come up a step, Warner."
----------------------------
Now Woakes thick edges past the slips.
Warne: "A pretty good over."

The Fairfax live blog (on which you can see the Bancroft catch -- link in post above) shows a social media post telling us:
"England's top six average 26.07 runs-per-dismissal in Test cricket this year. The last time they averaged less was 1950. #Ashes"

cricket.com.au's social media account shows a photo montage of the Bancroft catch:

Another edge from Woakes off Hazlewood falling short of first slip.
Now Nasser repeats what Warne said the first time.
Nasser: "It looks very deep."
I've still no idea what Oz are doing with their slips.
Lloyd says "17 metres... 18 metres..."
Nasser repeats that the slips may have to gamble and come up, or Paine gamble and go for those nicks.

The partnership is approaching 50. Oz could do with another wicket soon.
And there it is... brought up with a reverse sweep.
Lloyd (on all of the English batsmen): "They've obviously got a plan for Lyon. Don't let him settle."

And now some legspin. There are boos.
Wow... The batsman backs away late. The umpire signals dead bowl.
Nasser tells us he got Bairstow c&b here 6 years ago. You can see the scorecard in my earlier post.
