Now, Short's out for 88. Probably needed to keep his head down for a bit longer before he did that. Vics are 6/246 from 42.5.

8/255. Wheels falling off the Vics. Sutherland tickled what would have been an easy wide down the leg side. I suppose this tends to reinforce how well Fraser-McGurk batted on debut.

Holland gives himself up. Vic 9/256. Terrible lower-order batting. They've lost 5/11.

Vics all out for 265. They lost 6 for 20. That's the 4th time in 6 50-over games this season that the Vics have been bowled out.

Coulter-Nile finishes his 10 overs for WA with 5/48. SA are 9 down, still needing 36 from 29 balls. Ferguson has just brought up his 100, playing a lone hand.

Remarkably, Ferguson has SA needing only 7 from 7 after taking 16 from the 49th (with a ball to go).

No, he's out, lbw from the last ball of the 49th. WA wins by 6. Ferguson out for 127. Bad luck for him - he had to farm the strike and refuse singles (they were 9 down), so he left probably at least 20 out there that he would have got if he'd had a viable partner left.

NSW are 4/165 from 32 overs, chasing 266 for victory. For Victoria, Short has 2/21, backing up his 80-odd nicely. For NSW, Hughes made 83 and Henriques is 50*. NSW have lost 3/22 in about the last 8 overs. They still should reach the target comfortably.
