Actually looking back I reckon Sri Lanka were more competitive against this awesome Australian outfit than Pakistan have been.Pies4shaw wrote:3/64 at Stumps. Pakistan just need 276 to make Australia bat again.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!
Trent Copeland on uncalled no balls:

"21 no balls not called in 2 sessions..."
As Holding always says, if they don't call them the bowler will never know he's going over until it costs a wicket.

Bailey to be unveiled as new Australian selector

"The former Australia limited-overs captain will become a selector while still playing in the Big Bash League for Hobart Hurricanes and possibly in the Sheffield Shield for Tasmania...
Former South Australia captain Michael Klinger was also on the shortlist but sources indicate he is favourite to land the vacant Melbourne Renegades coaching job.
...
There have been concerns aired privately among rival states about having a current player act as a selector, for in Bailey's case there were questions as to what it could mean for a bowler's international hopes should Bailey score heavily off him in a BBL match. However, those who know Bailey say he has one of the sharper minds in the game and would retain an open mind, regardless of how he had faired against certain players."

Well, when does he start? I don't know if it's been announced yet, and if he starts immediately upon announcement.
I don't know where else to put it. In the (not-yet-made) NZ v Oz Test thread? I did think about the "Test Contenders" thread.
Update: I have received much-needed support from cricket.com.au, whose Bailey article (04:37 PM today) is catalogued under "Domain Test Series v Pakistan".
