Random stuff from inter-Test BBL slogathons:

Maddinson, Renshaw, Maxwell, Ponting, Langer...


Maddinson opening against the Heat looked really poor. He was trying to slog everything, mostly unsuccessfully. The only success was to a short ball, which he hooked into the stands. And then he got out to Renshaw. :shock:

Later, Renshaw almost returned the favour, almost offering a caught-and-bowled to Maddinson.


Maxwell looked great. How does he get that bat speed?

Hodge says Ashton Turner's throwing arm is gone now he's had those shoulder reconstructions. He described his throw for a possible run out as a "shot put".
