Could've been 150 for Stoinis if that no ball was called on the last ball.
But then also coulda been if he hadn't had those few attempts at ramp shots
Amazing to have witnessed, one batsman making more than some whole teams have made!

Scorchers 2/16 and in trouble.

Ponting said 8 of the last 12 games here were won by the chasing team. That's getting close to being too unbalanced, I reckon.

You too, K ? Do you have a framed RP portrait on your desk ?

He's just a former Oz skipper. Not a cricket oracle.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

Well, that was just a stat, not an opinion, and he no doubt just read what was given to him. (And you got my opinion attached to it, not any commentator's!) He is a commentator on FTA TV, you know. But brace yourself: I have yet to tell you about the Ponting Powerplay Criterion. 8)

Langer, whose opinions you pine for, cannot say anything sensible while national coach... and he's too much into New Age phooey anyway.* Paine, however, is co-commentating with RP.

That all said, RP is the last great batsman this country produced (which is not to say there won't be more in the future). :o

* Though I have quoted him a fair bit in this forum, and I did enjoy it when he said (of Marnus): "He's got a nice technique, he actually moves his feet, got footwork patterns. It's a dying art in the game of cricket with the amount of T20 and one-day cricket guys play now."
