Langer, whose opinions you pine for, cannot say anything sensible while national coach... and he's too much into New Age phooey anyway.* Paine, however, is co-commentating with RP.
That all said, RP is the last great batsman this country produced (which is not to say there won't be more in the future).
* Though I have quoted him a fair bit in this forum, and I did enjoy it when he said (of Marnus): "He's got a nice technique, he actually moves his feet, got footwork patterns. It's a dying art in the game of cricket with the amount of T20 and one-day cricket guys play now."
