31 needed from Rauf’s final over. He’s gone for 16 from 3.

And he starts with a leg bye and a wicket.

Thunder finish on 8/166 and lose by 28.

So if the final's washed out, as predicted, who wins? Ladder leaders handed the title?

Seen lots of commentary about not having a reserve day but nothing about what happens if it's washed out (haven't looked for it either though)

Had stars won their first final then it would not have mattered the final will have been played at the mcg again the stars shot their self in the foot here for not winning that first final. Instead looking like a wash out and the Sydney 6ers win it.

Fairfax reports:

"Only 13,067 turned up to the MCG for Thursday night's game - the second poor turnout at the venue in a week - though more than 1 million viewers around the country watched Glenn Maxwell's Melbourne Stars win through to Saturday night's decider. The grand final is a sellout but is set to be severely affected by Sydney's big wet."

The article also quotes News Corp's CEO:

"We are very much in the low sports season in Australia. Cricket's fascinating sometimes, antediluvian as it can be, it's not as compelling for crowds in Australia as Aussie rules or rugby league."

And:

"News Corp, which owns 65 per cent of Foxtel, revealed on Friday that Kayo's number of paying subscribers had fallen from 402,000, as of November 5 last year, to 370,000 on Wednesday."

(I'm sure you're aware the BB rules state that you must provide a link. Typing 'fairfax reports' is not a link)
