Donny.
It's a game. Enjoy it.

Oz win toss, elect to bat first.
Kane Richardson is out and being tested for coronavirus. (I bet it comes back negative.)
Apart from that, the team looks pretty much unchanged from those that were humiliated by unknown S. Africans. (They had to fit Starc back in.)
Maybe they'll do better against known NZers.
NZ resisted the temptation to select Kyle Jamieson. Instead, they are playing two spinners.

Oz 4/165 (34.3). Drinks.
Oz were 0/124 (24), so they've lost 4/41 (10.3).
FTB Smith's glaring weakness against left-arm spin was again exposed when Santner bowled him for 14.
(Remember when he claimed his weakness was just against Herath on pitches turning square? Hahaha.
What's with all the excuses, anyway? I can't remember another cricketer who constantly makes excuses for his failures. He keeps telling all the journos Archer "didn't get me out". Hmmm.... He just almost knocked you out with a harmless bouncer.)

Meanwhile, Oz's best Test batsman, Marnus, has got off to a bit of a flyer.

The problem with the middle order has been exposed again. The openers batted too conservatively in the first half of the innings for fear that once the first 4 go, no sensible scoring will occur. That looks like it may be correct. After 15 overs, they should have been set for 300+. They'd have to go at 12 an over from here to get there.
Marnus reaches 50.
Cummins hits Sodhi for 6. Hope the clueless batsmen, including FTB Smith, were watching.
Oz 6/239 (48 ).
----------------------
Boult gets Marnus LBW. He reviews... Not out!!
----------------------
But next over (the last), Ferguson does get Marnus. 56 (52).
Cummins & Starc have done okay.
Oz finish on 7/258 (50).
