2020 NFL draft

Post by Pies4shaw »

First round just finishing. QB Joe Burrow went to the Bengals at 1 (as expected). My mob, who don't need a quarterback and do need a wide receiver (or 3) drafted another quarterback (the 4th taken in the first round) - Jordan Love from Utah State.

And in Wisconsin, not a wideout to be seen in the draft list. Though we did recruit a tight end (Jermichael Finley was our last productive one before his horrible, career-ending injury). If I were an optimist, I’d assume this must mean that the Pack is going to recruit an established, gun receiver to make the most that can be made out of having the best quarterback of all time under centre. Realistically, I think they’re going to tell Rodgers to work out how to win a Super Bowl throwing to Davante Adams (with no help at all) and running the ball a lot. Sounds like a disaster to me.
