Don't forget that it'll be a long day too, because of the overs lost to rain.

England won. West Indies made a big mistake sending them in to bat on the first day.

3rd Test:

Eng. 4/258 (85.4).
Stumps, day 1.
Pope 91*.

Eng. must be very happy with that, given there is no good batting line-up in world cricket today.

Yep another blopper by the windies sending england in. England just need to rake it up to 375 and its all over to be honest the windies dont have a batting line up at all. Chase and Blackwood only top order arent much chop. Nice to see partnership in pope and buttler for once. Weather though is a shower or two day 2.

Could be a draw as the next 4 days are predicted as showers on all the 4 days.

Windes did well getting england at 8/280 was thinking england would be all out under 300 then enter stuart broad for a nice 65 runs innings could be the difference england all out for a much more respectable 369 . Windies in reply are struggling at 6-137 another 32 runs to avoid follow on with 4 wickets in hand. Weather for manchester is the odd drizzle patch but not much and the next day partly cloudy. For WI need say a 100 run partnership England to bowl out WI under 185.
