Bbl hardly any team has been able to chase any target down the bat first team wins in bbl 10.
There’s been some terrible collapse for the team chasing and it’s very predictable.
Like to see the 2020 format be incorporated as an extra match to the Sheffield shield say Nsw play Vic so for 4 days the fifth day is a 2020 match Nsw v Vic and is played by the same teams and venue.
And have the nsw wa Vic sa tas Qld play as per shield.
Bbl has had its day and has become to in your face and fake.
My idea of incorporating it with the sheild matches is great.

The Sixers' batting was shown up last night. (Dan Christian a duck!)

Philippe's defective batting technique was exposed again. You can play across the line on dead pitches against medium pacers. You will slog lots of runs and get much praise. But Behrendorff, who has played for Oz, on a faster pitch is a different matter. Philippe nicked off to Mash at first slip. He has scored truckloads of runs this BBL, but has been shown up by Worrall (when it swung), Rashid Khan (bowled), and Behrendorff.

Brad Hodge analysed Philippe's defective technique (possibly in the preview too). Hodge is quite good as a commentator, I reckon.

I enjoyed it when in one Stars match Maxwell made the tactical choice to give up dot balls, turning down the singles, off the 4th and 5th balls of the final over.

Hodge, before the last ball, on bowlers: "Normally, they miss two balls an over. Maybe this is the one."

Last ball: the bowler misses the spot and Maxwell hits it for six.

.............

Between the First and Second Tests, Hodge also suggested that maybe Oz should ignore the second innings and still drop Burns, basing it on him failing in the first innings. We of course know what happened in the disastrous Second Test.

Remenber the early ODIs ? The first bowlers left out were spinners.

Then, a few offies got games, but, more recently, leggies have become frontline contributors.

In the late 80s everyone used to be very happy with Peter Taylor getting 1/40 (10), typically a catch in the outfield.
