"Teenage prodigy Jake Fraser-McGurk withstood a Test-quality NSW attack on a tricky SCG pitch, scoring a nerveless 38no to help Victoria topple rivals NSW in a tense Marsh Sheffield Shield clash.
The 18-year-old Fraser-McGurk defied a rampant Nathan Lyon (10-78 for the match) and put on 52 for the sixth wicket with James Pattinson (16) to see the Vics chase down 141 in the final innings to seal victory before stumps on day three."

Second innings:K wrote:...
In Vic's first innings, Lyon took 6/21 (16).
Good effort from Lyon, but *** these Oz batsmen are hopeless against spin.
OTOH Starc and Hazlewood combined took 0/115 (30).
Lyon 4/57 (28.1), for match figures of 10/78 (44.1).
Starc & Hazlewood combined 2/61 (19), for match figures of 2/176 (49).
Lyon also scored 21 (34) as nightwatchman in the second innings, which on its own is more than Smith's match total of 7 (35) + 13 (24) = 20 (59).
It's gobsmacking how consistently Smith fails when the conditions give a bit of help to bowlers. You'd think that occasionally he'd fluke some runs. (And if you reckon it was more than a bit of help, look at Starc & Hazlewood's figures above.)
Yet some on this forum are still in denial about Smith being a Flat-Track Bully...
(Remember: this came only days after slogging many runs in a one-day game against the same opponent, so you can't use the excuse that he's just in bad form.)

Excellent win by Q'land.
Usmaqn Khawaja and Murnus Labuschagne put them on target with a 137 run third wicket partnership.
Khawaja was 115 n.o. as the Bulls reached the imposing target of 310, with just 3 wickets in hand. Labu scored 78.
Batting at # 7, Jack Wildermuth took pressure off his skipper, with 30 runs from just 23 deliveries.
