Barty wins Wimbledon final.
"A year after Wimbledon was cancelled for the first time since World War II, the 2021 finals will be played with full crowds in attendance on centre court."

Now is a huge opportunity for Novak to feast. Already there are talks about a "golden Grand Slam".
Looking forward to this! Hope Nole can take another step towards the GGS. Not going to be easy but if someone can do it, it’s him. Outside the hard courts of the AO this is his best surface, if it wasn’t for Rogers or. Murray’s preference and success on grass, Nole would have a higher rating. Still 5 is not too bad! Going for six!!!

"Top seed Ash Barty has been drawn in an emotional first-round encounter at Wimbledon against inspirational cancer survivor Carla Suarez Navarro.
Friday's draw at the All England Club was overshadowed by the dramatic late news that reigning ladies' champion Simona Halep has withdrawn from the grand slam tournament due to injury."

The most intriguing combo ever ?
Nick Kyrgios will play mixed doubles with Venus Williams.
"The show-stopping Aussie threw out an open invitation to potential partners before heading to the All England Club and revealed that he'd scored an incredible pairing in Williams.
"The mixed doubles team of the tournament," Kyrgios told reporters at Wimbledon, where he is returning after a lengthy break from tennis. He will play French rising star Ugo Humbert in his opening singles match."
