Stanley Cup Final

Post by Pies4shaw »

The Canadiens went down 1-5 to the Lightning yesterday. With Montreal in the Final for the first time since 1993 (and no Canadian team making the last two since the Canucks a decade ago) and Tampa Bay winning it last year, I was hoping for a better contest. Still, Montreal can come back. Game 2 is tomorrow morning (our time).

The Canadiens went down 1-3 to the Lightning in game 2. This is getting difficult, now.

Tampa Bay won game 3 6-3. Montreal would have to win 4 in a row. That ain't gonna happen. The Cup will stay with the Lightning.

Montreal stopped a whitewash, just, with a win in OT. They trail 3-1, now.

Tampa Bay Lightning held on to win the 5th game 1-0 and thus win the Stanley Cup 4-1.
