Big Bash League.
The BBL seems to have a few too many sides at the moment that can't send in more than a couple of decent batsmen. The contests tend to be decided by which team's "star" batsman (or two) gets runs. Perhaps having the competition overlap with the Tests is part of the problem. I guess that difficulties with international travel are a factor, too, for overseas players.

^ Interesting thought. What was it 2010, we went from 6 state teams to the current format?
Now there's 2 teams from Victoria & NSW.
The scorchers will be tested from here with the current restrictions in WA preventing any further home games for the top team.
Melbourne Stars are $1.70 favourites for tonights game, I find that baffling considering the last time these 2 sides met, they were beaten by a record 152 runs. The sixers have won the last 6 meetings with the stars.
The sixers have the equal highest (with scorchers) powerplay total of 53 this season. $2.25 seems over the odds to me. I'll be having some of that.
Josh Phillippe - sixers highest score/sixers to win @ $5.75 also looks like its worth a $5 bet
