Poms fight back - then, CER-ASH.

Dawid Malan and Joe Root added 138 for the 3rd. wicket, in the second Ashes Test, at the Adelaide Oval. Then the Aussies roared back, with 7/71, to bring the follow-on possibility into view.

England 9/221. Malan 80, Root 62, Mitch Starc 3/36, Nathan Lyon 3/56.

The Poms walked out, looking like a beaten side.

Tests HAVE been won from seemingly impossible positions.

Perhaps, they need a cricket historian in their army of minders.

Neser in as nightwatchman.

Notably, 4 of England's "top" 7 (and 6 of their 10 wickets) were dismissed without reaching double figures.
