Wowee, the Sixers' batters were hopeless. :shock: Defective techniques! :!:

They were 3/11. Then 4/22. Then 5/33. Neat pattern, huh?

I'll say more on this later... but... wowee, again... The Scorchers' internationals, J. Richardson, Behrendorff and A. Agar just destroyed their defective techniques. Jhye dismantled Philippe. Got him out twice!! (Bad ump decision to inside edge caught behind the first time. Of course, BBL does not have TV reviews.) Philippe is an FTB like Smith.

Oh... and Agar unveiled a carom ball (13.3 overs)... More on that in the Oz Spin Problems thread...


The idiots will say it was a bowlers' pitch. But the Scorchers almost scored 200. Prolly shoulda scored way over 200. And would've if Mitch Marsh had got going and faced more balls. Marsh is now under an injury cloud. In Collingwood lingo, he has "hamstring awareness". Kurtis Patterson smoked the bowling. He scored about 60 from about 40 balls. And Dwarshuis, the Sixers bowler, smashed 66 at the end of the game too. There was nothing wrong with the pitch. Just defective batting techniques.

Sixers will have to regroup... and stop whingeing about not being allowed to play FTB Smith.

Dunno why some media say it's not allowed on a "technicality". Huh?? :shock: FTB was not on the Sixers' list! If the other teams allowed it, it'd be like allowing the Sixers extra spots on the list and extra salary cap space.

Strikers have Carey and Head... That's 'cos they were on the Strikers' list. They had to carry on when those fellas were unavailable and still fit them in their salary cap.

Scorchers have Jhye, Inglis and M. Marsh. That's cos they were on the Scorchers' list. They had to carry on when those fellas were unavailable and still fit them in their salary cap.


It's simple. It's not a "technicality"...
