In fact, Richardson, Sams and Agar - all into the bowling lineup for that game - between them took 4/53 from 11 overs.

Looks like, at the moment, Sri Lanka has a general weakness against bowling.

To say the least. Langer will have rocks in his head if he chooses to coach Sri Lanka instead of the Poms. Since about 1999, I have heard the same old shit about learning from mistakes and practising on quick bouncy tracks against express bowlers bla, bla, bla but this never happens. Far more said than done.
Seriously SL need a Sports Psychology team to deal with their demons of playing on pitches where the ball gets big on them. Otherwise nothing will change as usual except for the coaches being sacked new ones appointed and new bunnies selected to play on overseas tracks based on form and performances on flat tracks where the usual bullies murder the mostly ordinary local bowlers to look like the fake champions they are.
