Brave effort from the girls today. 2 down on the bench, our best 2 players out for the year. Can’t knock the effort. Had our chances at the end.

Gut wrenching to lose to the flag favourites at their home ground by 2 points. And with 2 injured players throughout the game. Gutsy effort in the second half, but a scoreless first quarter is an issue.

Just get the win against the Tigers, secure a finals birth and go from there. The most likely scenario is we play Brisbane away, but still a chance to play North, Melbourne or Freo away.

Another team of the week selection for Ruby:

With the injury to Britt, expect that Ruby would be leading the Pies B&F votes.
