Meg Lanning just brought up her 100 from 92 balls, with a 4 taking her to 103*. Australia, chasing a target of 272, is presently 3/180, with about 20 and half overs to go. So they need 92 more at about 4 and a half per over.

It felt like Australia could have comfortably chased down another 50 and perhaps more, especially given that Perry didn't bat.

The West Indies have played all 7 of their games. Yesterday, against South Africa, the match was abandoned (weather). The result gave each time a point.

So:
- Australia will finish top and should make a clean sweep of their games so far when they face Bangladesh this morning (9 am AEDST).
- South Africa's point from the no-result guarantees them second (they have 9 points and none of the chasing pack can reach that number);
- WIndies are 3rd on 7 points - but at risk;
- England is 4th. One game to go, against Bangladesh, should see them end on 8 points;
- India is 5th. One game to go, against South Africa. This game probably decides the remaining spot in the semi-finals. If India wins, they will pass the WIndies and end on 8 points. If they lose, they could only reach 4th if, amongst other things, England lost to Bangladesh (which is most unlikely).
- NZ is 6th. They will likely win their remaining game against Pakistan and finish on 6 points. They need miracles (including losses by Inida and England).
- The remaining two teams, Bangladesh and Pakistan, cannot make the semi-finals (both on 2 points).

So, the semi-finals probably all turn on South Africa v WIndies. That's the last of the group games. It will be played at 12 pm on Sunday, AEDST.

Just two games left - England v Bangladesh and India v South Africa. Both are played tomorrow. 9am AEDST start for the first game and 12 pm for the second.

Looks like NZ can't make the semi-finals, now. They beat Pakistan easily - but didn't bring up their net run rate enough - in any event, they would still need England and India to lose and, since England has Bangladesh, that's not really a prospect.

So, England will almost certainly beat Bangladesh and pass the WIndies on points. A win would guarantee England a spot.

The big game is between South Africa and India. If India wins, they will pass the West Indies on points and guarantee themselves a spot. South Africa are in second place and can't change their finishing position. They are 4 points behind Australia but 3 points clear of England and India.

I suppose there's some chance the weather might play a role. The washout between South Africa and the West Indies, eg, guaranteed South Africa second place and cost the West Indies a chance at victory and 8 points.

England 4/150 two-thirds of the way through the 39th over. They were wobbling at 4/96, with the two estbalished batters dismissed in close succession but I think they've got enough runs now to declare and bowl Bangladesh out.
