Bangladedsh is playing for the draw against England (2/68 from 25+ overs). Meanwhile, India are 3/204 after 37 overs against SA and look like reaching about 300.

At the moment, it looks like the finalists will be Australia, South Africa, India and England (in that order).

Bangladesh 6/112 from 41 overs. England will win.

India is 5/266, 2 overs to go to set a big target for South Africa. They've slowed down quit a lot, here, after a massive rush out of the blocks.

So, it's getting clearer by the over, as South Africa chases India. Australia and South Africa will finish 1 and 2. England will finish third (India had to beat South Africa and restrict them to 173 in the chase, which will not happen). The remaining question is whether India can hold off South Africa. If they do, they will finish 4th. If they don't, the WIndies will take that spot and play Australia in the semis.

South Africa need 106 from 101 - but they're gradually slipping behind the run rate. Still, they have 7 wickets in hand, so they can charge, if they get close enough.

South Africa needs 3 from the last ball - or 2 for a super over.

No, the wicket on the second last ball was a no-ball. 2 balls to go. 2 to get!

Rain delay. The game has just started. Somehow it's still a 45-over game. Australia has been sent in to bat (West Indies won the toss).

This is a mess. Who'd think it was sane to put a World Cup of cricket in New Zealand in March?

The West Indies already got a free pass into this game because they got a point from their South Africa game when it couldn't be completed. It would be a disaster if today's match was ruined by rain delays and finished up being a sprint to the line by a couple of sloggers.
