England reached 8/293. South Africa is in a parlous position - 3/46 from 12.3 overs. Unless there's a miracle, it will an Australia v England final.

Strange way to run a tournament. Australia goes through the competition undefeated and pulverises its opposition at a day-time semi-final in Wellington. England barely scrapes through the preliminary rounds and pulverises its opposition at a day/night semi-final in Christchurch.

England has played two day/night games at Christchurch in the tournament. Australia has not played any games there.

How is the final to be played as a day/night game at Christchurch?

Ridculously, the best team in the world - unbeaten in the World Cup in 8 games - is somehow being made to play the World Cup Final on a ground they haven't played on in 22 years.

England won the toss and has sent Australia in. Starts in about 10 minutes.
