A reasonably good strike rate but their big hope (Wyatt) is out.

Good opening spell from Schutt. Claimed both openers.

Just as the Poms were getting ahead of their target, King takes an excellent outfield catch. Wicket for Jonassen.

The organizers should be embarrassed about rolling out that pitch. It favoured the batting way too much - as a consequence, even though Australia was obviously way better than England with both bat (Australia was, of course, 1/288) and ball (they took wickets progressively throughout the English innings), we had the embarrassing spectacle of 8s and 9s being able to belt the ball all over the field, despite an almost complete absence of technique. It diminished the spectacle and cheapened the efforts of all the fine batters out there (on both sides).

Healy is named player of the match and player of the series. POTS is, perhaps, a bit hard on Haynes, who was brilliant throughout the tournament - but, on the other and, Healy hit two 50s along the way, made 509 runs all up and destroyed the opposition in both the semi-final and final, on two quite different wickets and in different cities.

Ill like to see the Aussie girls do a tour of India and play India in India play like best of 3 test matches best of 5 t20s and best of 3 odis.

India in india is a good test.

I think this would be great to see Australia v India in India.

Play:
3 tests, 5 t20s and 3 odis
