The FA Cup Semi Final matches are now completed as Liverpool and Chelsea have advanced to the FA Cup Final for 2022. The two sides met each other in the League Cup final a few months earlier with Liverpool winning on penalties.

Liverpool last played in an FA Cup Final in 2012, losing to Chelsea 2-1. Liverpool last won the competition in 2006 against West Ham United and have won the competition 7 times.

Chelsea have reached the FA Cup final for a third consecutive year, having lost the two previous finals against Arsenal (2020) and Leicester City (2021). They're looking to win their 9th FA Cup trophy, which they lost won in 2018 against Manchester United.
