"Australia’s entire 15-player T20 World Cup squad are among the list of 28 Australians who will go under the hammer at this month's first ever Women’s Premier League auction.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India overnight confirmed the full list of 409 players, trimmed back from the more than 1525 who nominated themselves last month, for the auction in Mumbai on February 13."

"Ellyse Perry was next on the auction block, with a bidding war between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore developing, before the latter won out with a bid of AUD$297,000. She was batting in the St George's Park nets at the time.
Reigning Belinda Clark Award winner Beth Mooney was also sold to the Gujarat franchise for AUD$350,000.
Mooney will join Gardner at the franchise, where former Aussie vice-captain Rachel Haynes has been appoitned head coach. Gujarat had been a late entry into the bidding for the wicketkeeper-batter, but trumped interest from RCB and Mumbai Indians to win out."
