"The Sheffield Shield returns this week after a two-month hiatus, and a host of players that starred in BBL|12 are set to pull the whites back on.
Each state is due to play four more matches within the next five weeks, ahead of the Shield final on March 23, and all will be chasing Western Australia who were the standout side in the early summer.
Given several of WA’s red-ball squad were also part of the triumphant Perth Scorchers outfit that secured a record-extending fifth BBL title, Adam Voges’ side enter the back-half of the season as favourites to win back-to-back Shield crowns."

yeah solid day out there today 6/282 is a solid good start.
Press ahead will and sammy harper there re set again and put on another 60 from the overnight score.
Looking at 400 run first innings total.
A pretty competitive total first up.
Hinges on will and sammy.
Vic need overall win to be chance of finals.
a qld lose and its tassie that goes into second on the ladder with a game in hand as wll.
Good day out today for the Vics.
Cant understand why qld sent vics into bat.
The ptich is a belter and heaps of runs in it.
Vics would have been happy to be batting.
