--- which Broad loses. Bracewell has his second - one he won't be embarrassed to claim (although Broad might not want to see the replay of him missing a straight ball on middle stump with an airy attempted sweep). 7/389. The new ball is available in 4 balls.
England declared at 8/435 when Root brought up his 150. He finished 153*. At Lunch, NZ is 2/12. I don't think I am allowed to mention that Williamson made 4.
Leach, hilariously, now also has 3. 6/98. Latham caught behind for 35 (he was disappointed, because he thoiught it was off his arm-guard: he was correct, as far as that went, but it brushed the top of his glove, first), Nicholls (30) and Mitchell (30) both caught close in on the leg side - the Mitchell wicket was a tremendous catch off the face of the bat. Like Australia, NZ seem to want to swat across the line of the spinner, which is remarkable, given what a spud Leach is.

And now Broad gets Bracewell. NZ 7/104, still trailing by 331. If England has the G&D to force the follow on, the game could be over early tomorrow - unless someone in the NZ lower order makes a very big score, now.
