Stokes & Foakes should've got the Poms home. Pies4shaw: "Stokes just threw his hand away trying to hit one of those useless Wagner pies into the grandstand."

Yes, it was a brainfade of the worst order by Stokes - and from a player who had been batting so cautiously. It made no sense. They were 5/201 and apparently cruising to victory at that point. It seemed to unsettle Root, as well - and his wicket followed almost immediately.

Yeah, Wagner has a lotta guts. Some atrocious shots to get out to his short balls... Sheesh... Stokes's and Root's dismissals were really ugly. Almost as bad as FTB Smith's to the short ball.
