At 6/318 (still needing 98 to make NZ bat again), they need de Silva (presently 98*) to step into a telephone booth and emerge as VVS de Silva, the Caped Crusader. Yes, unless he's both Superman and Batman rolled into one, this game is done and dusted.

Spoke too soon - ordinary, human de Silva was dismissed without adding to his 98.

Disappointing result for SL... Sheesh, they were a chance to make the Test Championship Final before this series began!

The best batsman of this generation, Kane Williamson, made a 3rd century in 3 Tests. 4th if you count 215 as 2 centuries. 8) And of course NZ won all 3 Tests.

1st time 2 Kiwis have made double centuries in the same Test innings.

NZ won the 3rd ODI easily and the ODI series (2-0).

Saw a teeny weeny bit of the 3rd ODI. Seddon Park has an ice cream van. :o

SL still need to qualify for the ODI WC.

"India and six other teams have booked their spots in the World Cup starting in October, with the West Indies occupying the final automatic qualification place in the Super League standings. South Africa and Ireland are also in contention.

Sri Lanka will now look to earn their berth via a 10-team qualifying competition in Zimbabwe in June and July."

The first T20 was a fair dinkum nail biter, one of the most exciting games I have seen for a while in this format. If anyone hasn’t watched the replay, do so if you can. Great fun.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️
