The AFL are only interested in protecting their 'brand' and their sponsors.

Players are just a commodity.

And yes it would give anybody an excuse to dig up dirt on any player to cause havoc.

Anybody know a good chinese or russian hacker?

I’m trying hard to get my head around this shit. So I suddenly find out that there is a grainy film of supposedly me driving without a wearing a seatbelt. Someone from the Carlscum ghetto in Bendigo finds it while looking for something at the tip and gives it to the cops. Am I to believe that some cop who recognises me can accuse and charge me, and issue a belated fine?
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

No they can't.

But let's assume that your your job was teaching road safety at High School. It would reasonable for that school suspend or stand you down from that job. Right?

Get ready for it everyone...the Herald Sun has just reported that another lewd video of Jack Crisp has surfaced. It openly admits that this one dates back to 2014 (when Crisp was 19, and still at the Brisbane Lions).

So which Lions player should put their hand up to accept Crisps possible suspension ? It should be Zorko, they won’t miss him.
I don’t see how Collingwood can possibly incur any penalty for anything that is proven to have occured on Brisbanes watch. The player may yet be fined for an indiscretion that occurred years ago but surely that’s where it ends.

Yet another article about this latest video on FoxSport, explains that the video from 2014 were uploaded to an adult site in 2018.
Just as the text on the Snapchat video, all of this proves nothing. What evidence is there that Jack Crisp was responsible for this text, or what proof is there that Crisp himself uploaded this video footage?
It is just all hearsay and lurid speculation, with social media trolls having a field day in all the attention they are attracting and revelling in the discomfort they are causing to Collingwood.
This entire episode is making me quite angry. The fact that the AFL Ïntegrity Committee is now investigating is in itself adding fuel to the fire.
I hope that Collingwood issues a statement condemning the actions by trolls to dig up past indiscretions of a young Jack Crisp from 9 years ago to humiliate him now is contemptible and is rejected by the club.

^ It's making you angry because it's a Collingwood player.

As for the AFL Integrity Unit, surely that have to investigate. And the investigation would be a good thing as when/if Crisp is found to have done nothing wrong, then Collingwood can't be accused of hushing it up.

Of course it is because he is a Collingwood player, but my partisanship does not negate the objective fact that all of this "scandal" is based on historical videos now being suddenly exhumed from oblivion.
No doubt, the AFL integrity unit will discover that Jack Crisp did do something wrong - 9 years ago.
Any kind of investigation should involve discovering who created the Snapchat videos and uploaded them, etc.
Instead, we see Jack Crisp immediately being placed under the radar.
