The best Test batsman in the world, Kane Williamson, will have had about 6 or 7 months to recover from his torn ACL in the IPL. Not much time by AFL standards, but cricket batting is easier on the knee, right?

In today’s qualifier, it is literally a toss up and can go either way in a nail biter. Without much confidence and based solely on my heart, SL to win.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

Looks like SL has brought it’s A game for this game. Right on top early on having Zim 3 for 34 after 7 overs.

"Sri Lanka have booked their place at this year's ODI World Cup by claiming one of the two spots available at the International Cricket Council qualifying tournament in Zimbabwe on Sunday.

Sri Lanka crushed Zimbabwe by nine wickets on the back of an unbeaten century from opener Pathum Nissanka to seal their ticket to cricket's showpiece tournament in India from October 5-November 19."

Australia needs to finalise their 15-player squad by the end of today but have two more warm-up matches against the Netherlands on September 30 and Pakistan on October 3 to settle on their preferred XI for their World Cup opener against India on October 8.
