Unless he gets on some serious roids he is nowhere near Taz. :D

Hopefully he gets a run as an intercept defender. He looked good in that role in the VFL to me

Yeah, his last few games in the vfl in that role (defender with stints in the middle) he looked good, so hopefully its something they'll persist with.
I'm looking forward to when training starts soon to see if this is the direction they are gonna go with.

Very happy to see Reefy retained.

He shows a lot of promise, glad the club feels he has more development in him.

He needs to add some muscle to his slight frame, and to play a more physical game. He needs to play with more urgency and mongrel.

So he's going to slot into defence along with the two recruits that will also be doing that?

He's taller and bigger than both of them, so very different role I imagine. Lets see what the coaches have in mind for him.
Or they keep him forward with stints in the midfield, we'll see once training starts

I think Reef has thus far been a victim of versatility... he came in as a midfielder who played high half forward due to a stacked on ball brigade featuring Rowell and Anderson... he had a few injuries early and has been played mostly as a pseudo-KPF which he has done pretty well at. At the time of his drafting he was projected to be a big onballer with explosive pace from stoppage. Given his height though, he's been filling needs rather than his best position. The question is - is he good enough in his best position to supplant another, or is he good enough out of position to do the same? Time will tell.

That's what I heard too , but perhaps he isn't an AFL option either. Otherwise, we would have seen him rotate through there already. imo
