Likewise, really excited about next year.
We now have a lethal forward line:
Tim Membrey, Brody Mihocek, Dan McStay, Bobby Hill, Jamie Elliott, Lachie Schultz and Beau McCreery.

As someone pointed out on instagram, its the Triple M forward line: McStay, Membrey, Mihocek.

They offer something a little different from each other. I think Fly's is going to love his new option.

Perfect piece to add to the forward line puzzle in my opinion. Adds something different, a 6ft-2-3 bull who can use his body well, strong in the air and at ground level. I think he'll mix in well with the bigger lads and the smaller ones. Bring on 25.

A really good pick up - he often stood out in poor St Kilda squads over the years and puts in 100%

I'm not exactly sure how the forward line will work now if everyone is fit. Maybe the senior players get a rest more often?

With an extra option of a marking forward leading wide up the ground, it allows more marking power to remain deep. And he can also play small.

I always feel I have to make an excuse when praising a forward prospect...."OK, he is not Locket' lol. Membrey will amaze Pies supporters who underestimate what he brings.

McReery at HF. jaMie elliot in the pocket. darcy caMeron resting forward. steele sidebottoM sneaking forward for a Mark and goal. can imagine darcy Moore and brayden Maynard sending it on long to the big M forward line. Not to mention harry deMattia and big roo sMit warming it up in the twos.

And yes thanks @take a screamer how could miss him! The big Mason cox standing tall right in the Middle of that forward line

Don't forget Mason Cox - he's a darling of Fly.
If Cox can get back into form, he will be a regular member of the forward setup.
How the whole fwd line functions is a task for the experts, that is, a task for our highly rated coaches.

My guess is that there could be a rotation of personnel (as others here have speculated) with a best scenario leading up to the finals.

The forward set up will be very interesting. WHE played that third tall. Or they make a call on the 1 ruck and have mcstay 2nd ruck.

Membrey, the two talls and Cox makes for interesting choices at team meetings. Chuck in Ash if can sort out where his heads at - we could have the joy of an even bigger headache fitting him in.
Can someone clever tell me how many times Ash has played with McStay and Mihocek? Can’t be many. If fit I wouldn’t mind a trial of him and McStay sharing second ruck instead of Cox.
I can’t see Jamie getting through a whole season so having having Membreys smarts and strength as an option is exciting. I wonder if Membrey pushes McCreery to the wing, especially if Sidebottom flags. McCreery is suited to the same run-with role.

Great Pickup. Tim comes in and puts pressure on those around him to perform. Tim is also recognised as a leader and a team player, he brings a lot more to the table than many think.

Really excellent to see this confirmed. Welcome, Tim!

Probably the most excited I've been about a recruit from another club since Jeremy Howe.
