no Rash how about u come and see me when you have got three memberships, when you attend every Collingwood game in Melbourne plus other teams games, go to training regularly, go to the reserves, have a whole room full of footy stuff, spend a hell of a lot of time and money on football. Gee now that could really only be a fan who is into footy just for the guys.
Big deal u have been a footy fan for 25 years if i was a hundred years old i would have been a fan for 100 years!

To people that want Sav traded...
Think about it. How many times in our history have we given away players in dud swaps, only to see them play better than they were at Collingwood? I can assure you, that if Sav goes to another club, they will definitely get the best out of him... Why? Because no one at our club knows anything about full forward. Our coaching panel are backmen and therefore, cannot offer Sav the advice that he desperately needs.
And why is it that when the Rocca's play badly, it is always made into a much bigger thing than it really is? Why do the media put the spotlight on them, and not other players in the competition?
Sav definitely has the passion, seen by the fierce tackles that he made in the game.

Hi everybody it is me again, the Sav bagger.
spidergirl. Sounds like you should replace Mike Sheahan on 'Talking Footy'. I bow to you, your holy footiness. 3 memberships 'WOW'. I do appoligies for ever doubting your footy knowledge. Your the best.
dPie. That smother was actualy a crap kick from fullback that went straight into him. Nothing to do with desperation. It was nearly as bad as Tarks kicking straight to the Hawthorn player last week. The part of Sav's game that I am pissed off about is the many times when he was one on one with someone half his size (Basset) and he couldn't out body him.
ytry4. I agree that Sav may be successful at another team because he knows it will be his last chance. We cannot afford to keep him at CFC because of that reason. If Sav needs advice on how to play full forward after 9 years there, he should give the game away.

I am now leaving this discussion as you all know my opinion on this matter. I don't hate the guy. I even put a poster of him on the back of my daughters wardrobe door (a couple of years ago I must admit). I would love the big guy to prove me wrong in the remaining games.

Sav only started footy when he was 16 years old or something... He doesn't have a 'footy brain'. Every club has their own specialist coaches but we sadly don't. Gary Lyon at Melbourne, Dermott Brereton/Dunstall at Hawthorn, Sam Newman at Geelong (I think). The experience of these players are invaluable!

About Sav, although i am furious at how crap he has been playing lately you have raised a good point there about him being loyal to the club by staying and i hope at least for your sake that he improves and gets to stay.

I saw your future husband Sav today. He was actually ok with giving autographs today. U shoulda come down to Vic Park 2day for trainingit was really fun but we had to wait for bloody ages till it was pitch black till the players finally came out.
