Another interesting snippet doing the rounds is that Collingwood VFL will be sharing Princes Park with the Northern Bullants.
I'm sure some of you will actually blow that gasket now.

Not necessarily, especially with the Northern Bullants entering into a 3-year ground naming sponsorship with NAB earlier this season.

IIRC Carlton wanted to play all of the Bullants games at PP but they said no...in the end I think they agreed to a 1/3 2/3 split between PP and Cramer St.

Madness, although it's out there somewhere, it hasn't yet been 'officially' released, so it can't be made public at this point in time.

So the matches are just hearsay at the moment?

No, it's been finalised, just not 'officially' released yet.
Maybe in a week or two.

hang on..
i know dave the man is stupid (as in, really damn stupid), but did he seriously start a thread asking if a team with no members could challenge for the flag?

Why do you think the team doesn't have any members?
The VFL team will have the same amount of members as the AFL team, although not as many will attend a VFL game.

i meant a team with no playing members.
as in at the time of him writing this, we may have had one or two players.

That's not correct either.
We have a list of, what, 40 players?
22 of those would play in the AFL team, leaving 18 (barring injury) to play VFL.
Add Carmody and Crow to that, and there are 20 players for the VFL team.

I didn't count the rookies, so yes, we have 44, plus the two definite VFL signings, so at this stage, there are more than enough 'members' to play.
